Counsel David Bernthal Comments on Tough Decisions Facing the Judiciary

David Bernthal has published another op-ed in the Champaign-Urbana News-Gazette, commenting on the difficult decisions that judges often face. “Rest assured that judges are not exempt from criticism,” Bernthal writes. “They understand that every decision is subject to being dissected and critiqued. . . . I just want to remind readers to listen carefully to those who howl in opposition to a given decision. Just because the speaker desired a different result does not make the decision flawed.”
