Webber & Thies Attorneys Assume Significant Roles in the ABA

Shareholders John Thies and Daniel Thies have recently been named to significant leadership roles in the American Bar Association (ABA):

John was named Vice Chair of the ABA Center for Innovation Governing Council. The Center encourages and accelerates innovations that improve the affordability, effectiveness, efficiency, and accessibility of legal services.

Daniel was named Vice Chair of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar. This Section brings together legal educators, practitioners and judges and provides leadership and services to those involved in legal education and admissions to the bar through workshops, conferences and publications. The Section’s Council is the national accrediting body for American legal education.

John was also elected as a Member-at-Large of the Council of the Solo, Small Firm and General Practice Division Executive Committee. This Division is the national voice for solo, small firm and general practice lawyers, including military and government lawyers. The platforms, programs and collaborations of the Division support and advance members in their legal practices and personal lives.
