Our Office Is Open
Webber & Thies is pleased to continue serving our clients during the current COVID-19 outbreak. Many of our lawyers and staff are working remotely, but we remain open (8-12 and 1-5 daily) and committed to meet our clients’ needs.
Our office is staffed to answer your calls; you may contact us at (217) 367-1126. You may also contact any of our individual lawyers at the emails listed on their website bios.
At this time, Lincoln Square Mall is open from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. (south and east entrances only). If you need to come to our office prior to 10:00 a.m., please call ahead so that a staff member can let you into the building.
We are first and foremost concerned about protecting the health and safety of our employees, our clients and our community. With that in mind, we are adhering to applicable government orders for essential businesses regarding social distancing, face masks, disinfecting office spaces and teleworking when possible.
We remain always dedicated and always inspired to provide exceptional service to business and individual clients as we have for more than 70 years.
We are constantly reevaluating and creating new meeting protocols to follow current CDC responsible business practices. We are flexible to meet your needs in the manner most comfortable for your unique situation.
In most circumstances we will meet with you via phone or video call. When the situation requires an in-person meeting, such as signing estate planning or real estate documents, we will discuss with you our in-person protocols and make changes as necessary for your peace of mind.
If we meet in person, we will maintain social distancing whenever possible, wear face masks, provide disposable face masks for you if necessary, disinfect high-touch surfaces before and after the appointment, provide hand sanitizer and new pens, and limit the people present for the meeting to only those required.
Our COVID-19 Response Team
Our firm has created a response team (John Thies, Daniel Thies and Mike Brusatte) to keep up to date as to federal, state and community laws and guidelines as they relate to COVID-19 and its effect on individuals and businesses. Their articles are regularly posted on our news blog.
As always, the attorneys at Webber & Thies are available to assist with issues you are currently facing due to the ongoing pandemic. Contact us to begin the conversation.
